Senior Walk Eligibility

Senior Walk provides a historical record of students who graduated from the University.  Eligibility for Senior Walk is limited to students in good disciplinary standing who have completed the requirements for a bachelors, graduate, or law degree from the University. Qualifying students must be cleared for graduation by the college or school and approved by the Registrar’s Office. Senior Walk includes deceased students awarded a posthumous degree or honorary posthumous degree under Board of Trustees Policy 505.4 and Academic Policies 1505.30 and 1506.00.

In addition, participants in the University’s EMPOWER Program in good disciplinary standing who successfully complete 120 hours of EMPOWER Program coursework at the University of Arkansas and who fulfill the requirements established by the College of Education and Health Professions and the University of Arkansas administration and who have been approved by the Registrar’s Office as having completed the program are eligible to have their names placed on Senior Walk.  EMPOWER participants will have EMP placed after their names to indicate the program.

Those whose names are placed on Senior Walk, but subsequently have their degree revoked (for example, due to academic dishonesty or serious misconduct occurring prior to completion but discovered after the degree was conferred) or similar action taken may have their name removed from Senior Walk.
