Update on NIH F&A Policy on February 12, 2025
Good afternoon,
We write to confirm that the NIH F&A policy announcing a 15% rate on current and future awards has not been implemented per the order of the Federal District Court for the District of Massachusetts. The Court will hear arguments in the case on February 21st. At this time, no similar rate policies have been announced by other agencies.
If you are an NIH funded researcher, you should continue to operate under the current negotiated rates. If you receive a stop work order of any kind, comply, then please share it with your associate dean for research and ospdir@uark.edu.
Our offices will work with deans in coming weeks to assess the possible future scenarios that may impact our campus budgets and funding models. Further information about the federal administration transition can be found here.
