Academic Program Review and Assessment

To ensure continuous improvement and optimization of the university’s academic offerings, the Office of the Provost oversees assessment and review of the university’s academic programs.

Academic Program Assessment
All academic programs at the university are required to maintain an assessment plan and to email an annual assessment report to the Director of Curriculum Review and Program Assessment by June 1 of each year.

Academic Program Review
All undergraduate and graduate programs, centers, offices and institutes housed in the department are subject to academic program reviews.

General Education Curriculum
The University’s general education curriculum complements students' major studies with insights into artistic, humanistic, and scientific contexts, preparing them for lifelong engagement as global citizens.

Course Evaluations
Student evaluation of teaching is required each semester by the Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board and UA System Board of Trustees.
